That time of year again, time for the half marathon cycle in Sefton Park, Liverpool. A nice dry day, not really sunny but a bit overcast. Nice for cycling if a little cold at first, mainly due to hanging around waiting for it to begin. I did three laps of Sefton Park on my mountain bike as its not suitable for road bikes - up and down pavements and over tree roots! Apart from the climbs which kill my chest, it was plain sailing. Can't believe how much weight I have put on over the winter. Enjoyed it.
