Decided to try another skyride, this one went from Sale Water Park to Stockport and return, mainly along the Trans Pennine Trail.
This is the start where we all get our bikes checked and collect our yellow bibs.
We went onto part of the Fallowfield Loop, this is an old railway track which is now for bikes, walking and horses. This ride was so much faster than the last one. This time I took my camera so I could get lots of photos, but we hardly ever stopped and went at quite a good pace. So hardly an photos.
One of the girls pedal fell off her bike, fortunately we were in Stockport at this point and close to the Decathlon store. We stopped there and she got her bike fixed, we had a loo break and a quick look around the store. It's a massive store could easily spend a fortune, thankfully I didn't have my purse with me.
This is me at the end of the ride. I am becoming a liability, not content with falling off once, I fell off twice! The second time was a bad fall onto somebody else's bike, I have a big lump on my thigh, a scraped knee and arm. Thankfully I was wearing a helmet, I banged my head but my helmet saved me. As for the other persons bike - well I managed to buckle the back wheel, they had to do a repair job on it.
