New Year - New Me

As the new year starts, I do my usual web searches ready to sign up for my favourite runs.  How disappointing to find that some of my faves are no longer going to be held in Liverpool, they are only going to be in London!  It's just not fair on us northerners.  Not everyone can make it to London and spend money on overnight stays.  I could understand it if the runs up north were low on applicants, but they get more and more each year.

Worst Kept Secret says -Unfortunatley due to current funding restraints and  rising  sponcership costs Worst Kept Secret is no longer able to  participate in the 10K event.  

The Hydro Active Challenge is only going to be run in London.

At work we are having a Corporate Health Initiative Challenge, known as CHI Challenge.  For this our team is going to run 5k.  Yes, at last after all these years trying, I have finally found a training plan I can follow and I am currently running for (3 mins run 1 min walk x 8) a total of 32 mins.  None of us girls could run to start off with so it really is a challenge for us.
